Evaluation - workshops
Evaluation Workshop 1 - Adding a voiceover (The Shining) For this first workshop we have to use a scene from a film/ tv and create a script to voice over the characters thoughts and feelings. I decided to pair up with Jenna and we chose the maze scene from The Shining. We downloaded the scene from YouTube and opened it on GarageBand. Afterwards we created a script which included the mother and son talking. Our intentions for the scene were to convey what a mother and son conversation is typically like when doing an activity. Our voice added mood as you can tell what the mother and son are feeling through, the way they talk such as Wendy is happy when she says, "Isn't beautiful". We recorded the script using my phone in which I sent the recordings to myself to download it to drag it onto GarageBand. Once I had all the clips together, Jenna and I arranged the audio clips to match with the timing of the scene. If I did this workshop differently I would pick a scene with...
